Causing Little Ones to Sin: The Coming Judgment on America's Public Schools
/Jesus is the King and Judge of the universe. And He gave a very serious warning to those who cause children to sin:
Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
Woe to the world for temptations to sin! For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes! (Matthew 18:5-7)
How you treat children has serious ramifications for your life, as it is a reflection of who you are. If you receive children in the name of Jesus, you receive Jesus. You are showing Jesus’ love to those children.
But if you cause children to sin—especially children who believe in Jesus—then you will receive a terrible judgment. It would be better to have a massive stone tied around your neck and be thrown into the sea.
This illustration should terrify us all.
There are many enemies of children in today’s world. The media has been corrupted and now seeks to promote distortions of marriage and sexuality even to children. They are teaching little children that evil is good.
This sort of rot has clearly permeated America’s public schools. Colleges of education in universities are leftist propaganda machines, and they are churning out radical leftist teachers and administrators.
America’s public schools have been teaching that God is irrelevant to education for several generations. And now the fruit of such godless education is apparent. God’s design for men and women and the family is despised.
This would be bad enough if this were taught to adults. But these are children. Public schools are training the most impressionable of people in wickedness.
The judgment for such actions will be great.
Public schools will be accountable for what they teach. Every teacher and every administrator will be accountable. As will be every parent who willingly sends his or her children to such godless institutions and exposes them to evil.
The judgment will be even greater for those who mislead Christian children, causing those who believe in Jesus to sin. “It would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.”
